Rest easy America

Rest easy, my census form is in the mail.

I, for one, am happy to participate in a process that ensures that I get my “fair share” of your money.

God Bless America!

Way to start my morning

I managed to spill coffee on myself. On the upside it wasn’t hot. On the downside it couldn’t possibly look any more like I pissed my pants.

I just deleted 48 “friends” from Facebook and it feels GREAT!

Scratch that. 48. 49. 50. 51 “friends”… Ah! Ah! AH!

Nothing like dilution

I’ve long thought that the phrase “weapon of mass destruction” was being used a little too broadly. Apparently it now means any weapon bigger than a friggin’ pea shooter.*

The Hutaree planned to kill an unidentified law enforcement officer and then attack other officers who gathered for the funeral, the release said. According to the plan, the Hutaree would attack law enforcement vehicles during the funeral procession with “improvised explosive devices with explosive formed projectiles,” which, according to the indictment, constitute weapons of mass destruction.

* Although I freely admit that the media could easily have fucked up the reporting.

Thanks, Neighbor

Some people I just don’t understand. I simply cannot get inside their minds and figure how they justify their decisions. What kind of logic (other than flawed) are they using?

One of my neighbors is this kind of person. Said neighbor has a nice house a few doors down. He has a 2-driver household. He has a 2-car garage & decently-sized driveway. He has 4 cars.

Question: How many of those cars does he park in front of my house?

Answer: Between 1 and 3.

Imagine my anger at a man who owns four parking spaces and leaves 3 of them empty to fill spaces in front of my house.

Yeah. I don’t like it. But here’s the better part. One of the cars doesn’t move. Does not move. Ever. The jackass doesn’t even have the car registered. No license plate. Nothing. Just a faded Obama sticker. [Despite the 0% usage factor of this car, his concubine-like partner still spent time cleaning the damn thing off after our 30 inches of snow earlier this year.]

Some people I just don’t understand.
