The news says that New Belgium Breweries will be making their Fat Tire, and some other assorted beers, available to South Carolinians as of June 1, 2009. That sounds like good news for beer consuming South Carolinians and New Belgium.
The bad news for New Belgium is that their website is a fucking disaster. Perhaps to be fair, it isn’t that bad. However in my opinion, it shouldn’t be so difficult to find the FAQs.

The Harris Teeter in Mt. Pleasant does not have 12-packs yet. They only have 22 oz. SC commemorative singles with a special “Rolling into the Palmetto State” label. I just bought the last six they had on the shelf. I’m not sure if that’s how they are rolling it out across the whole state or if some stores already have regular 12-packs.
When they rolled out the Chicago Commemoriative bottles in 06 they started with the 22 oz bottles – it was (months?) before i saw it in any other size. Even the bars were pouring from 22oz bottles. Hey – beggers can’t be choosers, right?! FINALLY it’s here!
