In the past, I’ve read some funny stuff at cracked.com. However, I found their 5 Innovative Ways Hollywood Is Screwing You Over article to not only be unfunny, but to be completely stupid. I don’t think the author really has any idea what it means to be screwed over or to be innovative (probably why the article sucks so badly). Honestly, do you consider Hollywood to be full of evil geniuses because they figured out that they can put ads at the beginning of movies or that they can make some extra cash by releasing multiple editions of the same movie?
In this case, the list is made worse by a couple things.
First, I originally found the article at Mania.com, which is one shitty website from a design perspective. So of course I’m thinking “shitty website, shitty writers. surprise surprise.” (I don’t use proper punctuation in my thoughts).
Then I realized it was from cracked, where I found they have brilliant and insightful commenters. XtinaxFan, the first one to post says:

Every time I see a hollywood self indulged blow hole open their mouths and spout out something opinionated I cringe at how important they think they are. Then I shudder as I know what kind of mindless zombies are out there that don’t think for themselves and actually would listen to these idiots. Then I go to the torrents and look for a decent movie that I haven’t seen yet that the actor/actress may have been in. I have a few actors that I will never put another dime in their pocket due to things they have opined on.
