Forest Pearson, a 10 year-old in Oregon, built his own snow machine. The parts cost him $500 and he was able to put 3 feet of snow in his backyard in one night.

Rachel found this story and sent it to me. She said she found other stories about the kid that included the fact that he may have received some help from his grandfather, who, I think, was some type of engineer.
Nonetheless, I’m still impressed.
what parent gets their kid an air compressor of that magnitude for a 10 year olds Christmas!!

Actually, I think the article said that he saved his allowance to help fund the project.
