13 days have elapsed since my last update. I’ve made another phone call and sent 6 emails to about 7 different people.
Other emails have been sent to my little visitor April Jackson (april.jackson@onrebate.com). Her job is “to ensure customer satisfaction, and assist with your rebate process.” She replied promptly:
Please reply back to this e-mail with your rebate tracking number, so that I can better assist you. Any additional question or concerns please reply back to this e-mail.
Apparently she is either slow, was lying about wanting to help, or was lying about wanting to know my concerns. I replied with:
My tracking number is #########. If you are just going to tell me another lie, then don’t even bother replying. I’ve spoken to at least 4 different operators, Nikki Thomas, and had Lonny Paul at TigerDirect contact someone named ‘Marsha.’ I’ve learned that my refund is perpetually one week away, and everyone at OnRebate is a pathological liar, OR OnRebate as a whole is either a criminal enterprise or possibly the most inept business ever created by man.
If you would like a longer list of questions and concerns, I’ll be more than happy to get that to you.
I sent that on Wednesday without getting any response by the end of the day Friday. For good measure I sent another email to the “customer advocate” on Friday.
On March 29th also took some time to email Carlos, CEO Bill Gollan (bill.gollan@onrebate.com), President Anthony Jones (anthony.jones@onrebate.com that address was kicked back; I think Mr. Jones was sacked), Client Services Manager Marsha Tate (marsha.tate@onrebate.com) who is probably the ‘Marsha’ who lied to Lonny Paul at TigerDirect telling him that my refund would be sent last week around March 30th, and Customer Service Manager Antoine Myers (antoine.myers@onrebate.com). No one has been kind enough to reply to my messages.
Also on March 29th I sent another email to Lonny Paul of TigerDirect (I’m guessing that Lonny was recently brought back to TigerDirect since his blog explicitly states he is “no longer affiliated with TigerDirect.com or the Systemax family of companies, effective November 2, 2005.”). I figured I would let Lonny know that he, too, was being lied to by OnRebate. I haven’t heard back from him yet, either.
On April 1st, I sent an email explaining my case to support@help.onrebate.com.
As yet, I have not heard back from anyone and I am very, pissed off.
UPDATE - April 3rd: Bill Gollan replied to an email I sent alleging ethics policy violations. (Read the ethics policy and see if I don’t have a case.) “I’ll take care of this today - and will get back to you before noon.”

Yep, I did come back to Tiger, back in December. Very well read, I see….
I am checking on this again in the morning. From this post, it seems like a lifetime - hard to believe it was only the weekend!
