Education
Filed under: General, Hatred, Health, Morbid, Politics — nobrainer @ 9:05 pm

This is my third attempt at writing this post goddamnit. I’ve got pages of semi-well thought out material and it all sucks. Now I’m pissed.

Education in this country is shitty because the education community contains too many stupid mother(child)fuckers.

What makes the education debate more intolerable, is that so often the proposed “solution” — one heavily favored by, surprise of surprises, the labor unions — is to hire more stupid childfuckers.

In the quality VS quantity debate, the American public has loudly voted that it would rather take the Sizzler restaurant approach.

In distilled form: the stupid are demanding more stupid in the classroom in order to make the stupid children of the stupid less stupid. Like Ron White said, “you can’t fix stupid.” You can only hope to contain it.

Really want test scores and shit to increase? Don’t spend money on shitty new books that come with useless CDs and webcontent and those nice color pictures, or computers that really serve as expensive toys, or even on more teachers. Spend some time and effort convincing the stupid not to breed. Give them all the budweiser, crystal meth, crack, sex, condoms, and maybe even a hint of education they need to keep them happy — and out of the parenting business.

A drugs for balls trade (how much is that heroin really worth to you)? Or let’s give out sex-vouchers, AKA get-laid-free cards, for men and women who undergo permanent sterilization. We can let people fuck to their hearts’ content without having to worry about their piss in the gene pool. Could that be any worse than constantly trying to reform all these unwanted kids?

It’s so perfect it has to work.

You are screwing social security more than the democrats already have. Then again, if morons can get educated and get jobs, welfare won’t need a budget and Social security will be fine/ Never mind, democrats are still en-mass. America losses that round.

collapse nobrainer Says:

You bring up another point that pisses me off: this “we’re overpopulated and will be unsustainable.. no wait, we’re underpopulated and will be unsustainable no, we’re…”

Personally, I think the “we’d better breed like rabbits so that our kids and their kids can buy my adult-diapers” is the most idiotic and ignorant of all the ideas, especially when we rely on the dregs of society to do the humping.

I enjoyed reading your post. Lots of problems with education, the unions are a big chunk of those problems. How is it that private schools can pay their teachers the same as or less than public school babysitters.. but generate a better result?

As for the population argument.. the main problem as I see it.. is that smart people don’t have as many children as the poor and ignorant. I guess when you’re poor sex is just another form of recreation, as opposed to dinner and a movie on friday night and condoms or birth control is like, “should I get popcorn and/or candy?”

I feel your pain.

I’m jealous I didn’t go with the balls for drugs incentive.

I proposed a similar solution in an inter-high school Model UN circa 1997/98. I called for a national standardized culturally unbiased test of mental skills. Something really simple (like the wonderlic) that would truly be difficult to fail. The bottom 2.5% would be castrated. I don’t remember the math but in just a few generations we’d be able to see the curve shifting. I also proposed that medical students conduct the operations in order to get real life experience on human patients. The other option was for the castrated to pay for chemical or hormonal castration himself. This idea went over like a fart in church with the “you’re a eugenicist” crowd.

I suggest you read lots and lots of neo-Darwinian books and come to grips with the fact that there will always be people with, uhh, differing environmental fitness.

I’d lieke RU-486 put into the water supply like Flouride.

collapse Mr. Bingley Says:

“Smart” people don’t have as many kids because they see how much college costs, for one thing. My first year at UVa, in 1982, cost my folks something on the order of $4,000, soup to nuts. My daughter’s first year, in 2012 (and holy sheet is that getting close) will cost something like, what, $50,000?

collapse Evan Says:

If you are “smart” you may want to exploit the lower cost of living in, say, South Carolina and send your daughter to Clemson. Just a thought.

collapse nobrainer Says:

Work where the salaries are high and retire where the cost of living is low.

Besides, by 2012 Clemson might not be too much cheaper than UVA.

collapse Evan Says:

Bootstrap a business where the the cost of living is low and retire wherever you want.

collapse Wha Says:

You can actually fix stupid. Jsut set up said stupid in a position where failure = termination. Problem solved if you can keep the liberal courts from locking you up.
I think I am gonna start a company that makes one t-shirt. It will say “Hey You!” on the front and have a persons face of choise, and “Out of the Gene Pool!” on the back. People will only have to send in a picture of said moron with their cash and get there shirt(s) back in a few days. Pricing for one will take care of set up fees. Any duplicate orders will just be more profit. Sadly, I think there is enough of a demand out there that it might work. the best aprt is, most of the morons that need weeded out will think it’s just funny/cool to see themselves on a shirt when their friends wear it.

collapse nobrainer Says:

I think Wha inadvertently proved the points of Ron White and myself

collapse Mr. Bingley Says:

I like South Carolina.

But I also like my job in Manhattan.
