When did that open/happen/come into existance?
UPDATE: Is this out where the OLD Charlie T’s used to be? They made it look nice. How did that happen? And in my defense, I never saw aerial shots of it before. I’m an idiot.

I took a canoeing class one year that required we paddle to Charlie T’s for lunch.
We got there and the damn place was closed for the day. Ugh.

Charlie T’s….now that was a place to enjoy a brew and spend the day looking over the lake at Death Valley and enjoying doing absolutely nothing with the guys. Damn that was fun.

If I’m not mistaken, that is where I first drank in public underage. 8 or 9 of us went for dinner. Only one person was 21 and he ordered up some pitchers.
And if memory serves, the first bar I drank in (and the only one underage) was Sloan Street.

Oh, I’m going to have to go visit the little “marina” this summer and see what they took away–I looked at that restaurant’s menu and it is way to frou frou to be on the same spot as dear old Charlie T’s!
Ummmm…that was in the works when I was there. I used to live off Old Stone Church Road.
They finally got it working. Whoo hoo.
I jest, since I am not there to drink on the shores of Lake Hartwell.
