At this point, most of y’all have probably heard or read about the idiot who donned an Osama Bin Laden mask, grabbed a pellet gun, and decide to play a “prank” on random motorists. Well Mr. Dumbass got shot. Whodathunkit?
It is my belief that this guy was consciously trying to win a Darwin Award for himself. Maybe he thought his family would be proud. Who knows? Sadly, he failed miserably. He managed to only get shot twice, in the stomach. He’s now recovering in the hospital.
Which leads me to my point. If you are vying for a coveted Darwin Award and you fail to make yourself deceased, what kind of award should you qualify for? Arguably this guy is not among “the fittest” of human beings. Is he too stupid to die? Is that possible? I believe that human evolution is now on the downswing. Now that nearly everything is “idiot-proofed”, you have to be of significant intelligence to qualify as that uber-idiot who is able to supercede all safety precautions. Scary isn’t it.
