1. Buying gifts for people who don’t live nearby sucks when you don’t know their specific address. (note, if you just gave me your address, that DOES NOT mean your getting a gift from me… a card is a maybe)
2. Today’s Forde-Yard Dash brings up some good points. There were apparently 59 bowl eligible teams this season in college football. After subtracting Clemson and South Carolina due to the additional ass-kicking that the Coots demanded, that left just one team, the Akron Zips, as the only bowl eligible team to not get a bid. And apparently they went through quite an ordeal. I’m not sure who I feel the most sorry for. But sadly, due to SC’s evil-shenanigans, teams like Troy State got bids.
3. I’ve given up on AIM (and their now-present popup ads) in favor of GAIM. This software has some advantages, but I’m still having major issues. I guess that’s why GAIM comes free of charge and of advertisements. If I don’t have better luck with it, I’ll probably splurge and re-up with DeadAim.
4. Ron White’s “They Call me Tater Salad” is a much better comedy album than Mitch Hedberg’s “Mitch All Together”. Ron’s comedy is solid. Whereas Mitch’s album, by content, is similar to his prior “Strategic Grill Locations”, the aggressive pace and energy makes you fully believe that this guy is completely driven by various chemical cocktails. I prefer the laid back Mitch.
5. The hot girl down the hall came to ask ME for help when she managed to to trip one of her circuit breakers tonight. But she’s not slutty, or skanky… so I’m sure I have no chance.
