well, i’ve been in charlottesville for over 24 hours now. i pretty much have everything i need. now i just have to put everything i need into the place i need it to be in. things are good enough for now. hopefully i will be motivated to keep working on it for the next few hours. with that I should be able to finish. i find it’s hard to know what to do with some of this stuff as it’s never really been unpacked from moves 3 or 4 years ago. c’est la vie.
otherwise, i find that getting around in charlottesville is confusing at hell. i guess i just need to learn the roads better, but i keep getting lost, a lot. tomorrow i have to figure out why the university believes i owe them over $5000… this is particularly troubling since they seem to know that they owe me more than that. and i also need to return my rental truck and buy a rug for the apartment. i love the hardwood floors, but the rules state that 75% of them must be covered with rugs. what a sham. perhaps i’ll go with astroturf.
